Psalm 110
NLT Parallel ISV [BSB CSB ESV HCS KJV ISV NAS NET NIV NLT HEB]
New Living TranslationInternational Standard Version
1The LORD said to my Lord, “Sit in the place of honor at my right hand until I humble your enemies, making them a footstool under your feet.”1A declaration from the LORD to my Lord: "Sit at my right hand until I make your enemies your footstool."
2The LORD will extend your powerful kingdom from Jerusalem ; you will rule over your enemies.2When the LORD extends your mighty scepter from Zion, rule in the midst of your enemies.
3When you go to war, your people will serve you willingly. You are arrayed in holy garments, and your strength will be renewed each day like the morning dew.3Your soldiers are willing volunteers on your day of battle; in majestic holiness, from the womb, from the dawn, the dew of your youth belongs to you.
4The LORD has taken an oath and will not break his vow: “You are a priest forever in the order of Melchizedek.”4The LORD took an oath and will never recant: "You are a priest forever, after the manner of Melchizedek."
5The Lord stands at your right hand to protect you. He will strike down many kings when his anger erupts.5The Lord is at your right hand; he will utterly destroy kings in the time of his wrath.
6He will punish the nations and fill their lands with corpses; he will shatter heads over the whole earth.6He will execute judgment against the nations, filling graves with corpses. He will utterly destroy leaders far and wide.
7But he himself will be refreshed from brooks along the way. He will be victorious.7He will drink from a stream on the way, then hold his head high.
