| 1Praise the LORD! I will thank the LORD with all my heart as I meet with his godly people. | 1Hallelujah! I will give thanks to the LORD with all of my heart in the assembled congregation of the upright. |
| 2How amazing are the deeds of the LORD! All who delight in him should ponder them. | 2Great are the acts of the LORD; they are within reach of all who desire them. |
| 3Everything he does reveals his glory and majesty. His righteousness never fails. | 3Splendid and glorious are his awesome deeds, and his righteousness endures forever. |
| 4He causes us to remember his wonderful works. How gracious and merciful is our LORD! | 4He is remembered for his awesome deeds; the LORD is gracious and compassionate. |
| 5He gives food to those who fear him; he always remembers his covenant. | 5He prepares food for those who fear him; he is ever mindful of his covenant. |
| 6He has shown his great power to his people by giving them the lands of other nations. | 6He revealed his mighty deeds to his people by giving them a country of their own. |
| 7All he does is just and good, and all his commandments are trustworthy. | 7Whatever he does is reliable and just, and all his precepts are trustworthy, |
| 8They are forever true, to be obeyed faithfully and with integrity. | 8sustained through all eternity, and fashioned in both truth and righteousness. |
| 9He has paid a full ransom for his people. He has guaranteed his covenant with them forever. What a holy, awe-inspiring name he has! | 9He sent deliverance to his people; he ordained his covenant to last forever; his name is holy and awesome. |
| 10Fear of the LORD is the foundation of true wisdom. All who obey his commandments will grow in wisdom. Praise him forever! | 10The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom; sound understanding belongs to those who practice it. Praise of God endures forever. |
