Praise the LORD! I will thank the LORD with all my heart as I meet with his godly people.1Praise the LORD! I will give thanks to the LORD with all my heart, In the company of the upright and in the assembly.
How amazing are the deeds of the LORD! All who delight in him should ponder them.2Great are the works of the LORD; They are studied by all who delight in them.
Everything he does reveals his glory and majesty. His righteousness never fails.3Splendid and majestic is His work, And His righteousness endures forever.
He causes us to remember his wonderful works. How gracious and merciful is our LORD!4He has made His wonders to be remembered; The LORD is gracious and compassionate.
He gives food to those who fear him; he always remembers his covenant.5He has given food to those who fear Him; He will remember His covenant forever.
He has shown his great power to his people by giving them the lands of other nations.6He has made known to His people the power of His works, In giving them the heritage of the nations.
All he does is just and good, and all his commandments are trustworthy.7The works of His hands are truth and justice; All His precepts are sure.
They are forever true, to be obeyed faithfully and with integrity.8They are upheld forever and ever; They are performed in truth and uprightness.
He has paid a full ransom for his people. He has guaranteed his covenant with them forever. What a holy, awe-inspiring name he has!9He has sent redemption to His people; He has ordained His covenant forever; Holy and awesome is His name.
Fear of the LORD is the foundation of true wisdom. All who obey his commandments will grow in wisdom. Praise him forever!10The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom; A good understanding have all those who do His commandments; His praise endures forever.
