Psalm 121
NLT Parallel ISV [BSB CSB ESV HCS KJV ISV NAS NET NIV NLT HEB]
New Living TranslationInternational Standard Version
1I look up to the mountains— does my help come from there?1I lift up my eyes toward the mountains— from where will my help come?
2My help comes from the LORD, who made heaven and earth!2My help is from the LORD, maker of heaven and earth.
3He will not let you stumble; the one who watches over you will not slumber.3He will never let your foot slip, nor will your guardian become drowsy.
4Indeed, he who watches over Israel never slumbers or sleeps.4Look! The one who is guarding Israel never sleeps and does not take naps.
5The LORD himself watches over you! The LORD stands beside you as your protective shade.5The LORD is your guardian; the LORD is your shade at your right side.
6The sun will not harm you by day, nor the moon at night.6The sun will not ravage you by day, nor the moon by night.
7The LORD keeps you from all harm and watches over your life.7The LORD will guard you from all evil, preserving your life.
8The LORD keeps watch over you as you come and go, both now and forever.8The LORD will guard your goings and comings, from this time on and forever.
