A song of ascents. In my distress I cried to the LORD, and He answered me. In my distress I called to the LORD, and he answered me. A Song of degrees. In my distress I cried unto the LORD, and he heard me. A Song of Ascents. I cried to the LORD in my trouble, And He answered me. A song of ascents. I call on the LORD in my distress, and he answers me.
Deliver my soul, O LORD, from lying lips and a deceitful tongue. Deliver me, O LORD, from lying lips, from a deceitful tongue. Deliver my soul, O LORD, from lying lips, and from a deceitful tongue. Rescue my soul, LORD, from lying lips, From a deceitful tongue. Save me, LORD, from lying lips and from deceitful tongues.
What will He do to you, and what will be added to you, O deceitful tongue? What shall be given to you, and what more shall be done to you, you deceitful tongue? What shall be given unto thee? or what shall be done unto thee, thou false tongue? What will He give to you, and what more will He do to you, You deceitful tongue? What will he do to you, and what more besides, you deceitful tongue?
Sharp arrows will come from the warrior, with burning coals of the broom tree! A warrior’s sharp arrows, with glowing coals of the broom tree! Sharp arrows of the mighty, with coals of juniper. Sharp arrows of the warrior, With the burning coals of the broom tree! He will punish you with a warrior’s sharp arrows, with burning coals of the broom bush.
Woe to me that I dwell in Meshech, that I live among the tents of Kedar! Woe to me, that I sojourn in Meshech, that I dwell among the tents of Kedar! Woe is me, that I sojourn in Mesech, that I dwell in the tents of Kedar! Woe to me, for I reside in Meshech, For I have settled among the tents of Kedar! Woe to me that I dwell in Meshek, that I live among the tents of Kedar!
Too long have I dwelt among those who hate peace. Too long have I had my dwelling among those who hate peace. My soul hath long dwelt with him that hateth peace. Too long has my soul had its dwelling With those who hate peace. Too long have I lived among those who hate peace.
I am in favor of peace; but when I speak, they want war. I am for peace, but when I speak, they are for war! I am for peace: but when I speak, they are for war. I am for peace, but when I speak, They are for war. I am for peace; but when I speak, they are for war.
