For the director of music. For Jeduthun. A psalm of David. Truly my soul finds rest in God; my salvation comes from him.1For God alone my soul waits in silence; from him comes my salvation.1For the choir director; according to Jeduthun. A Psalm of David. My soul waits in silence for God only; From Him is my salvation.1To the chief Musician, to Jeduthun, A Psalm of David. Truly my soul waiteth upon God: from him cometh my salvation.1For the choir director: according to Jeduthun. A Davidic psalm. I am at rest in God alone; my salvation comes from Him.
Truly he is my rock and my salvation; he is my fortress, I will never be shaken.2He alone is my rock and my salvation, my fortress; I shall not be greatly shaken.2He only is my rock and my salvation, My stronghold; I shall not be greatly shaken.2He only is my rock and my salvation; he is my defence; I shall not be greatly moved.2He alone is my rock and my salvation, my stronghold; I will never be shaken.
How long will you assault me? Would all of you throw me down-- this leaning wall, this tottering fence?3How long will all of you attack a man to batter him, like a leaning wall, a tottering fence?3How long will you assail a man, That you may murder him, all of you, Like a leaning wall, like a tottering fence?3How long will ye imagine mischief against a man? ye shall be slain all of you: as a bowing wall shall ye be, and as a tottering fence.3How long will you threaten a man? Will all of you attack as if he were a leaning wall or a tottering stone fence?
Surely they intend to topple me from my lofty place; they take delight in lies. With their mouths they bless, but in their hearts they curse.4They only plan to thrust him down from his high position. They take pleasure in falsehood. They bless with their mouths, but inwardly they curse. Selah4They have counseled only to thrust him down from his high position; They delight in falsehood; They bless with their mouth, But inwardly they curse. Selah.4They only consult to cast him down from his excellency: they delight in lies: they bless with their mouth, but they curse inwardly. Selah.4They only plan to bring him down from his high position. They take pleasure in lying; they bless with their mouths, but they curse inwardly. Selah

Truly he is my rock and my salvation; he is my fortress, I will not be shaken.6He only is my rock and my salvation, my fortress; I shall not be shaken.6He only is my rock and my salvation, My stronghold; I shall not be shaken.6He only is my rock and my salvation: he is my defence; I shall not be moved.6He alone is my rock and my salvation, my stronghold; I will not be shaken.
My salvation and my honor depend on God; he is my mighty rock, my refuge.7On God rests my salvation and my glory; my mighty rock, my refuge is God.7On God my salvation and my glory rest; The rock of my strength, my refuge is in God.7In God is my salvation and my glory: the rock of my strength, and my refuge, is in God.7My salvation and glory depend on God, my strong rock. My refuge is in God.
Trust in him at all times, you people; pour out your hearts to him, for God is our refuge.8Trust in him at all times, O people; pour out your heart before him; God is a refuge for us. Selah8Trust in Him at all times, O people; Pour out your heart before Him; God is a refuge for us. Selah.8Trust in him at all times; ye people, pour out your heart before him: God is a refuge for us. Selah.8Trust in Him at all times, you people; pour out your hearts before Him. God is our refuge. Selah
Surely the lowborn are but a breath, the highborn are but a lie. If weighed on a balance, they are nothing; together they are only a breath.9Those of low estate are but a breath; those of high estate are a delusion; in the balances they go up; they are together lighter than a breath.9Men of low degree are only vanity and men of rank are a lie; In the balances they go up; They are together lighter than breath.9Surely men of low degree are vanity, and men of high degree are a lie: to be laid in the balance, they are altogether lighter than vanity.9Men are only a vapor; exalted men, an illusion. Weighed in the scales, they go up; together they are less than a vapor.

Do not trust in extortion or put vain hope in stolen goods; though your riches increase, do not set your heart on them.10Put no trust in extortion; set no vain hopes on robbery; if riches increase, set not your heart on them.10Do not trust in oppression And do not vainly hope in robbery; If riches increase, do not set your heart upon them.10Trust not in oppression, and become not vain in robbery: if riches increase, set not your heart upon them.10Place no trust in oppression, or false hope in robbery. If wealth increases, pay no attention to it.
One thing God has spoken, two things I have heard: "Power belongs to you, God,11Once God has spoken; twice have I heard this: that power belongs to God,11Once God has spoken; Twice I have heard this: That power belongs to God;11God hath spoken once; twice have I heard this; that power belongeth unto God.11God has spoken once; I have heard this twice: strength belongs to God,
and with you, Lord, is unfailing love"; and, "You reward everyone according to what they have done."12and that to you, O Lord, belongs steadfast love. For you will render to a man according to his work.12And lovingkindness is Yours, O Lord, For You recompense a man according to his work.12Also unto thee, O Lord, belongeth mercy: for thou renderest to every man according to his work.12and faithful love belongs to You, LORD. For You repay each according to his works.
