1 And, on the third day, there was a marriage in Cana of Galilee; and the mother of Jesus was there. 2 And Jesus also was invited, and His disciples, to the marriage. 3 And, wine having fallen short, the mother of Jesus says to Him, "They have no wine." 4 And He saith to her, "Woman, what is it to Me and to you? My hour has not yet come." 5 His mother says to the servants, "Whatsoever He saith to you, do." 6 Now there were set there six waterpots of stone, according to the Jews' manner of purifying, containing, each, two or three firkins. 7 Jesus saith to them, "Fill the waterpots with water." And they filled them up to the brim. 8 And He saith to them, "Draw out now, and bear to the ruler of the feast." And they bore it. John 2:1-8, Worrell New Testament. Public domain.
