(Exodus 23:10–13; Leviticus 25:1–7)

1At the ende of seuen yere thou shalt make a fre yere. 2And this is the maner off the fre yere, whosoever lendeth ought with his hande vnto his neyghboure, maye not axe agayne that which he hath lent, of his neyghboure or of his brother: because it is called the lordes fre yere, 3yet of a straunger thou maist call it home agayne. But that which thou hast with thy brother thyne hande shall remytt, 4and that in any wyse, that there be no begger amonge you.
