Israel’s Kingdom Blessing 1A Song. A Psalm of David. 1 My heart being firm, O God, I will sing and make music, even with my glory!† 2Awake, O harp and lyre! 3I will praise You among the peoples, O YHWH, and I will sing praises to You among the nations. 4For great over the heavens is Your loving devotion, and up to the clouds is Your faithfulness. 5Be exalted above the heavens, O God, and over all the earth Your glory! 6That Your beloved may be delivered, save with Your right hand, and answer me! 7God has spoken from His holy place:† “I will exult; I will divide Shechem, and measure out the Valley of Succoth. 8Unto Me is Gilead, unto Me is Manasseh; and Ephraim is the strength of My head, Judah is My scepter. 9Moab is the basin of My washing; upon Edom I will cast My sandal; over Philistia I will shout in triumph.” 10Who will bring me to the fortified city? Who will lead me as far as Edom? 11Have You not, O God, cast us off? And will You no longer go forth, O God, with our armies? 12May You give to us help from adversity, and the salvation of man is emptiness. 13With God we will act in strength, and He will trample our adversaries.
