1 O YHWH, my heart is not lifted high,

and my eyes are not raised up,

and neither have I gone about in great things,

and in marvelous things beyond me.

2If not, I have stilled and quieted my soul

like a weaned child with his mother;

my soul is like a weaned child within me.

3Look with hope, O Israel, unto YHWH,

from now even to forever!
