Praise Yahweh from the Heavens
(Psalm 33:1–22)

1Hallelu YAH!

Praise YHWH from the heavens;

praise Him in the heights!

2Praise Him, all His angels;

praise Him, all His hosts!

3Praise Him, O sun and moon;

praise Him, all stars of light!

4Praise Him, O heavens of heavens,

and waters that are above the heavens!

5Let them praise the name of YHWH,

for He commanded, and they were created.

6And He established them for ever to forever;

He made a decree, and it shall not pass away.

7Praise YHWH from the earth,

sea creatures and all the depths;

8fire and hail, snow and clouds,

wind of storm—doing His word;

9mountains and all hills,

trees of fruit and all cedars;

10the beast and all cattle,

the creeping thing and bird of wing;

11kings of the earth and all peoples,

princes and all judges of the earth;

12young men and also maidens,

old with young:

13Let them praise the name of YHWH,

for His name alone is exalted;

His splendor above the earth and the heavens!

14For He has raised up the horn of His people,

the praise from all His saints,

from the sons of Israel, a people near to Him.

Praise YAH!

Footnotes:

1 Hallelu YAH means Praise YHWH; also in verse 14
1 See Matthew 21:9, Mark 11:10, and Luke 19:38.
