Psalm 61
Berean Literal Bible Par ▾

You Have Heard My Vows

1For the one directing. On a stringed instrument. Of David.

1 Hear, O God, my cry;

attend to my prayer.

2From the end of the earth I call out to You

in the feebleness of my heart;

may You lead me to the rock

that is higher than I.

3For You have been a place of refuge for me,

a tower of strength against the face of the enemy.

4Let me sojourn in Your Tent forever;

I will take refuge in the shelter of Your wings.

Selah

5for You, O God, have listend to my vows;

You have appointed the inheritance

of those fearing Your name.

6May You add days to the days of the king;

may his years be as generation and generation.

7May he dwell forever before God;

may You appoint loving devotion and faithfulness

to guard him.

8So I will sing praise to your name forever,

that I may perform my vows, day by day.
