And we sent Timothy, our brother and the minister of God in the gospel of Christ, to confirm you and exhort you concerning your faith:
Acts 16:1 And he came to Derbe and Lystra. And behold, there was a certain disciple there named Timothy, the son of a Jewish woman that believed: but his father was a Gentile.
Acts 17:14,15 And then immediately the brethren sent away Paul, to go unto the sea: but Silas and Timothy remained there. . . .
