Good News Translation
But if, when the priest examines it again, the mildew has faded, he shall tear it out of the clothing or leather.

New Revised Standard Version
If the priest makes an examination, and the disease has abated after it is washed, he shall tear the spot out of the cloth, in warp or woof, or out of skin.

But if the spot has faded after being washed, he will tear away the spot.
