And one of the lawyers answering, saith to him: Master, in saying these things, thou reproachest us also.

And one of them, a doctor of the law, asked him, tempting him:
But the Pharisees and the lawyers despised the counsel of God against themselves, being not baptized by him.
But he said: Woe to you lawyers also, because you load men with burdens which they cannot bear and you yourselves touch not the packs with one of your fingers.
Woe to you lawyers, for you have taken away the key of knowledge. You yourselves have not entered in: and those that were entering in, you have hindered.

Then answered one of the lawyers, and said to him, Master, thus saying, thou reproachest us also.
Hereupon one of the expounders of the Law exclaimed, "Rabbi, in saying such things you reproach us also."
One of the lawyers answered him, "Teacher, in saying this you insult us also."
And one of the lawyers answering, saith to him, 'Teacher, these things saying, us also thou dost insult;'
