…7If I shall walk in the midst of tribulation, thou wilt quicken me: and thou hast stretched forth thy hand against the wrath of my enemies: and thy right hand hath saved me. 8The Lord will repay for me: thy mercy, O Lord, endureth for ever: O despise not the works of thy hands.
Being confident of this very thing: that he who hath begun a good work in you will perfect it unto the day of Christ Jesus.
Doth it seem good to thee that thou shouldst calumniate me, and oppress me, the work of thy own hands, and help the counsel of the wicked?
Thy hands have made me, and fashioned me wholly round about, and dost thou thus cast me down headlong on a sudden?
Thou shalt call me, and I will answer thee: to the work of thy hands thou shalt reach out thy right hand.
Turn not away thy face from me; decline not in thy wrath from thy servant. Be thou my helper, forsake me not; do not thou despise me, O God my Saviour.
I will cry to God the most high; to God who hath done good to me.
Cast me not off in the time of old age: when my strength shall fail, do not thou forsake me.
Know ye that the Lord he is God: he made us, and not we ourselves. We are his people and the sheep of his pasture.
I will keep thy justifications: O! do not thou utterly forsake me.
Thy hands have made me and formed me: give me understanding, and I will learn thy commandments.
Alleluia. Praise the Lord, for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever.
