…24But also for us, to whom it shall be reputed, if we believe in him that raised up Jesus Christ, our Lord, from the dead, 25Who was delivered up for our sins and rose again for our justification.
Surely he hath borne our infirmities and carried our sorrows: and we have thought him as it were a leper, and as one struck by God and afflicted.
But he was wounded for our iniquities, he was bruised for our sins: the chastisement of our peace was upon him, and by his bruises we are healed.
For why did Christ, when as yet we were weak, according to the time, die for the ungodly?
But God commendeth his charity towards us: because when as yet we were sinners according to the time.
Therefore, as by the offence of one, unto all men to condemnation: so also by the justice of one, unto all men to justification of life.
He that spared not even his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how hath he not also, with him, given us all things?
