1 Peter 5:2
Be shepherds of God's flock that is among you, watching over them not out of compulsion, but because it is God's will; not out of greed, but out of eagerness;
1 Peter 2:25
For you were like sheep going astray, but now you have returned to the Shepherd and Overseer of your souls.
The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.
He tends His flock like a shepherd; He gathers the lambs in His arms and carries them close to His heart. He gently leads the nursing ewes.
I will appoint over them one shepherd, My servant David, and he will feed them. He will feed them and be their shepherd.
My servant David will be king over them, and there will be one shepherd for all of them. They will follow My ordinances and keep and observe My statutes.
Awake, O sword, against My shepherd, against the man who is My Companion, " declares the LORD of Hosts. "Strike the shepherd, and the sheep will be scattered, and I will turn My hand against the little ones.
I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down His life for the sheep.
Now may the God of peace, who through the blood of the eternal covenant brought back from the dead our Lord Jesus, the great Shepherd of the sheep,
When the Son of Man comes in His glory, and all the angels with Him, He will sit on His glorious throne.
Colossians 3:3, 4
For you died, and your life is now hidden with Christ in God. . . .

1 John 3:2

1 Corinthians 9:25
Everyone who competes in the games trains with strict discipline. They do it for a crown that is perishable, but we do it for a crown that is imperishable.
2 Timothy 4:8
From now on the crown of righteousness is laid up for me, which the Lord, the righteous judge, will award to me on that day--and not only to me, but to all who crave His appearing.
Blessed is the man who perseveres under trial, because when he has stood the test, he will receive the crown of life that God has promised to those who love Him.
Do not fear what you are about to suffer. Look, the devil is about to throw some of you into prison to test you, and you will suffer tribulation for ten days. Be faithful even unto death, and I will give you the crown of life.
I am coming soon. Hold fast to what you have, so that no one will take your crown.
