Moses continued, "The LORD your God will raise up for you a prophet like me from among your fellow Israelites. You must listen to him.
Fear swept through the crowd as they saw this happen. And they praised God for sending a man with such great authority.
And the crowds replied, "It's Jesus, the prophet from Nazareth in Galilee."
Everyone was gripped with great wonder and awe, and they praised God, exclaiming, "We have seen amazing things today!"
Then the dead boy sat up and began to talk! And Jesus gave him back to his mother.
When the Pharisee who had invited him saw this, he said to himself, "If this man were a prophet, he would know what kind of woman is touching him. She's a sinner!"
