Psalm 131
BSB Parallel ESV [BSB CSB ESV HCS KJV ISV NAS NET NIV NLT HEB]
Berean Study BibleEnglish Standard Version
1A song of ascents. Of David. My heart is not proud, O LORD, my eyes are not haughty. I do not aspire to great things or matters too lofty for me.1O LORD, my heart is not lifted up; my eyes are not raised too high; I do not occupy myself with things too great and too marvelous for me.
2Surely I have stilled and quieted my soul; like a weaned child with his mother, like a weaned child is my soul within me.2But I have calmed and quieted my soul, like a weaned child with its mother; like a weaned child is my soul within me.
3O Israel, put your hope in the LORD, both now and forevermore.3O Israel, hope in the LORD from this time forth and forevermore.
