Berean Study BibleHolman Christian Standard Bible
1A song of ascents. Of David. My heart is not proud, O LORD, my eyes are not haughty. I do not aspire to great things or matters too lofty for me.1A Davidic song of ascents. LORD, my heart is not proud; my eyes are not haughty. I do not get involved with things too great or too difficult for me.
2Surely I have stilled and quieted my soul; like a weaned child with his mother, like a weaned child is my soul within me.2Instead, I have calmed and quieted myself like a little weaned child with its mother; I am like a little child.
3O Israel, put your hope in the LORD, both now and forevermore.3Israel, put your hope in the LORD, both now and forever.
