BSB Parallel ISV [BSB CSB ESV HCS KJV ISV NAS NET NIV NLT HEB]
Berean Study BibleInternational Standard Version
For the choirmaster. With stringed instruments. A Psalm of David. Answer me when I call, O God of my righteousness! You have relieved my distress; show me grace and hear my prayer.1When I call, answer me, my righteous God! When I was in distress, you set me free. Be gracious to me and hear my prayer.
How long, O men, will my honor be maligned? How long will you love vanity and seek after lies? Selah2You people, how long will you malign my reputation? How long will you love what is vain and what is false? Interlude
Know that the LORD has set apart the godly for Himself; the LORD hears when I call to Him.3But understand this: the LORD has set apart the godly for himself! The LORD will hear me when I cry out to him!
Be angry, yet do not sin; on your bed, search your heart and be still. Selah4Be angry, yet do not sin. Think about this when upon your beds, and be silent. Interlude
Offer the sacrifices of the righteous and trust in the LORD.5Offer sacrifices that are righteous, and put your confidence in the LORD.
Many ask, “Who can show us the good?” Shine the light of Your face upon us, O LORD.6Many are asking, "Who will help us to see better days?" LORD, may the light of your favor shine upon us.
You have filled my heart with more joy than when grain and new wine abound.7You have given me more joy in my heart than at harvest times, when grain and wine abound.
I will lie down and sleep in peace, for You alone, O LORD, make me dwell in safety.8I will lie down and sleep in peace, for you alone, LORD, enable me to live securely.
