Psalm 54
BSB Parallel ISV [BSB CSB ESV HCS KJV ISV NAS NET NIV NLT HEB]
Berean Study BibleInternational Standard Version
1For the choirmaster. With stringed instruments. A Maskil of David. When the Ziphites went to Saul and said, “Is David not hiding among us?” Save me, O God, by Your name, and vindicate me by Your might!1God, by your name deliver me, and by your power vindicate me.
2Hear my prayer, O God; listen to the words of my mouth.2God, listen to my prayer, and pay attention to the words of my mouth.
3For strangers rise up against me, and ruthless men seek my life—men with no regard for God. Selah3For the arrogant have arisen against me; oppressors have sought to take my life. They do not keep God in mind! Interlude
4Surely God is my helper; the Lord is the sustainer of my soul.4Look, God is my helper; the Lord is with those who are guarding my life.
5He will reward my enemies with evil. In Your faithfulness, destroy them.5He will turn the evil upon those who lie in wait for me. Cut them off with your truth.
6Freely I will sacrifice to You; I will praise Your name, O LORD, for it is good.6With a free will offering I will sacrifice to you; I will give thanks to your name, LORD, because it is good,
7For He has delivered me from every trouble, and my eyes have stared down my foes.7for he has delivered me from every trouble, and my eyes have seen the end of my enemies.
