BSB Parallel NLT [BSB CSB ESV HCS KJV ISV NAS NET NIV NLT HEB]
Berean Study BibleNew Living Translation
1For the choirmaster. With stringed instruments. A Maskil of David. When the Ziphites went to Saul and said, “Is David not hiding among us?” Save me, O God, by Your name, and vindicate me by Your might!1Come with great power, O God, and rescue me! Defend me with your might.
2Hear my prayer, O God; listen to the words of my mouth.2Listen to my prayer, O God. Pay attention to my plea.
3For strangers rise up against me, and ruthless men seek my life—men with no regard for God. Selah3For strangers are attacking me; violent people are trying to kill me. They care nothing for God. Interlude
4Surely God is my helper; the Lord is the sustainer of my soul.4But God is my helper. The Lord keeps me alive!
5He will reward my enemies with evil. In Your faithfulness, destroy them.5May the evil plans of my enemies be turned against them. Do as you promised and put an end to them.
6Freely I will sacrifice to You; I will praise Your name, O LORD, for it is good.6I will sacrifice a voluntary offering to you; I will praise your name, O LORD, for it is good.
7For He has delivered me from every trouble, and my eyes have stared down my foes.7For you have rescued me from my troubles and helped me to triumph over my enemies.
