Psalm 131
CSB Parallel KJV [BSB CSB ESV HCS KJV ISV NAS NET NIV NLT HEB]
Christian Standard BibleKing James Bible
1LORD, my heart is not proud; my eyes are not haughty. I do not get involved with things too great or too wondrous for me.1A Song of degrees of David. LORD, my heart is not haughty, nor mine eyes lofty: neither do I exercise myself in great matters, or in things too high for me.
2Instead, I have calmed and quieted my soul like a weaned child with its mother; my soul is like a weaned child.2Surely I have behaved and quieted myself, as a child that is weaned of his mother: my soul is even as a weaned child.
3Israel, put your hope in the LORD, both now and forever.3Let Israel hope in the LORD from henceforth and for ever.
