CSB Parallel KJV [BSB CSB ESV HCS KJV ISV NAS NET NIV NLT HEB]
Christian Standard BibleKing James Bible
Hallelujah! How good it is to sing to our God, for praise is pleasant and lovely.1Praise ye the LORD: for it is good to sing praises unto our God; for it is pleasant; and praise is comely.
The LORD rebuilds Jerusalem; he gathers Israel's exiled people.2The LORD doth build up Jerusalem: he gathereth together the outcasts of Israel.
He heals the brokenhearted and bandages their wounds.3He healeth the broken in heart, and bindeth up their wounds.
He counts the number of the stars; he gives names to all of them.4He telleth the number of the stars; he calleth them all by their names.
Our Lord is great, vast in power; his understanding is infinite.5Great is our Lord, and of great power: his understanding is infinite.
The LORD helps the oppressed but brings the wicked to the ground.6The LORD lifteth up the meek: he casteth the wicked down to the ground.
Sing to the LORD with thanksgiving; play the lyre to our God,7Sing unto the LORD with thanksgiving; sing praise upon the harp unto our God:
who covers the sky with clouds, prepares rain for the earth, and causes grass to grow on the hills.8Who covereth the heaven with clouds, who prepareth rain for the earth, who maketh grass to grow upon the mountains.
He provides the animals with their food, and the young ravens, what they cry for.9He giveth to the beast his food, and to the young ravens which cry.
He is not impressed by the strength of a horse; he does not value the power of a warrior.10He delighteth not in the strength of the horse: he taketh not pleasure in the legs of a man.
The LORD values those who fear him, those who put their hope in his faithful love.11The LORD taketh pleasure in them that fear him, in those that hope in his mercy.
Exalt the LORD, Jerusalem; praise your God, Zion!12Praise the LORD, O Jerusalem; praise thy God, O Zion.
For he strengthens the bars of your city gates and blesses your children within you.13For he hath strengthened the bars of thy gates; he hath blessed thy children within thee.
He endows your territory with prosperity; he satisfies you with the finest wheat.14He maketh peace in thy borders, and filleth thee with the finest of the wheat.
He sends his command throughout the earth; his word runs swiftly.15He sendeth forth his commandment upon earth: his word runneth very swiftly.
He spreads snow like wool; he scatters frost like ashes;16He giveth snow like wool: he scattereth the hoarfrost like ashes.
he throws his hailstones like crumbs. Who can withstand his cold?17He casteth forth his ice like morsels: who can stand before his cold?
He sends his word and melts them; he unleashes his winds, and the water flows.18He sendeth out his word, and melteth them: he causeth his wind to blow, and the waters flow.
He declares his word to Jacob, his statutes and judgments to Israel.19He sheweth his word unto Jacob, his statutes and his judgments unto Israel.
He has not done this for every nation; they do not know his judgments. Hallelujah!20He hath not dealt so with any nation: and as for his judgments, they have not known them. Praise ye the LORD.
