| 2Praise the LORD with the lyre; make music to him with a ten-stringed harp. | 2Praise the LORD with harp: sing unto him with the psaltery and an instrument of ten strings. |

| 15He forms the hearts of them all; he considers all their works. | 15He fashioneth their hearts alike; he considereth all their works. |
| 16A king is not saved by a large army; a warrior will not be rescued by great strength. | 16There is no king saved by the multitude of an host: a mighty man is not delivered by much strength. |
| 17The horse is a false hope for safety; it provides no escape by its great power. | 17An horse is a vain thing for safety: neither shall he deliver any by his great strength. |
| 18But look, the LORD keeps his eye on those who fear him--those who depend on his faithful love | 18Behold, the eye of the LORD is upon them that fear him, upon them that hope in his mercy; |
| 19to rescue them from death and to keep them alive in famine. | 19To deliver their soul from death, and to keep them alive in famine. |
| 20We wait for the LORD; he is our help and shield. | 20Our soul waiteth for the LORD: he is our help and our shield. |
| 21For our hearts rejoice in him because we trust in his holy name. | 21For our heart shall rejoice in him, because we have trusted in his holy name. |
| 22May your faithful love rest on us, LORD, for we put our hope in you. | 22Let thy mercy, O LORD, be upon us, according as we hope in thee. |
