Psalm 92
CSB Parallel KJV [BSB CSB ESV HCS KJV ISV NAS NET NIV NLT HEB]
Christian Standard BibleKing James Bible
It is good to give thanks to the LORD, to sing praise to your name, Most High,1A Psalm or Song for the sabbath day. It is a good thing to give thanks unto the LORD, and to sing praises unto thy name, O most High:
to declare your faithful love in the morning and your faithfulness at night,2To shew forth thy lovingkindness in the morning, and thy faithfulness every night,
with a ten-stringed harp and the music of a lyre.3Upon an instrument of ten strings, and upon the psaltery; upon the harp with a solemn sound.
For you have made me rejoice, LORD, by what you have done; I will shout for joy because of the works of your hands.4For thou, LORD, hast made me glad through thy work: I will triumph in the works of thy hands.
How magnificent are your works, LORD, how profound your thoughts!5O LORD, how great are thy works! and thy thoughts are very deep.
A stupid person does not know, a fool does not understand this:6A brutish man knoweth not; neither doth a fool understand this.
though the wicked sprout like grass and all evildoers flourish, they will be eternally destroyed.7When the wicked spring as the grass, and when all the workers of iniquity do flourish; it is that they shall be destroyed for ever:
But you, LORD, are exalted forever.8But thou, LORD, art most high for evermore.
For indeed, LORD, your enemies--indeed, your enemies will perish; all evildoers will be scattered.9For, lo, thine enemies, O LORD, for, lo, thine enemies shall perish; all the workers of iniquity shall be scattered.
You have lifted up my horn like that of a wild ox; I have been anointed with the finest oil.10But my horn shalt thou exalt like the horn of an unicorn: I shall be anointed with fresh oil.
My eyes look at my enemies; when evildoers rise against me, my ears hear them.11Mine eye also shall see my desire on mine enemies, and mine ears shall hear my desire of the wicked that rise up against me.
The righteous thrive like a palm tree and grow like a cedar tree in Lebanon.12The righteous shall flourish like the palm tree: he shall grow like a cedar in Lebanon.
Planted in the house of the LORD, they thrive in the courts of our God.13Those that be planted in the house of the LORD shall flourish in the courts of our God.
They will still bear fruit in old age, healthy and green,14They shall still bring forth fruit in old age; they shall be fat and flourishing;
to declare: "The LORD is just; he is my rock, and there is no unrighteousness in him."15To shew that the LORD is upright: he is my rock, and there is no unrighteousness in him.
