ESV Parallel BSB [BSB CSB ESV HCS KJV ISV NAS NET NIV NLT HEB]
English Standard VersionBerean Study Bible
My heart is steadfast, O God! I will sing and make melody with all my being!1A song. A Psalm of David. My heart is steadfast, O God; I will sing and make music with all my being.
Awake, O harp and lyre! I will awake the dawn!2Awake, O harp and lyre! I will awaken the dawn.
I will give thanks to you, O LORD, among the peoples; I will sing praises to you among the nations.3I will praise You, O LORD, among the nations; I will sing Your praises among the peoples.
For your steadfast love is great above the heavens; your faithfulness reaches to the clouds.4For Your loving devotion extends beyond the heavens, and Your faithfulness reaches to the clouds.
Be exalted, O God, above the heavens! Let your glory be over all the earth!5Be exalted, O God, above the heavens; may Your glory cover all the earth.
That your beloved ones may be delivered, give salvation by your right hand and answer me!6Respond and save us with Your right hand, that Your beloved may be delivered.
God has promised in his holiness: “With exultation I will divide up Shechem and portion out the Valley of Succoth.7God has spoken from His sanctuary: “I will triumph! I will parcel out Shechem and apportion the Valley of Succoth.
Gilead is mine; Manasseh is mine; Ephraim is my helmet, Judah my scepter.8Gilead is Mine, and Manasseh is Mine; Ephraim is My helmet, Judah is My scepter.
Moab is my washbasin; upon Edom I cast my shoe; over Philistia I shout in triumph.”9Moab is My washbasin; upon Edom I toss My sandal; over Philistia I shout in triumph.”
Who will bring me to the fortified city? Who will lead me to Edom?10Who will bring me to the fortified city? Who will lead me to Edom?
Have you not rejected us, O God? You do not go out, O God, with our armies.11Have You not rejected us, O God? Will You no longer march out, O God, with our armies?
Oh grant us help against the foe, for vain is the salvation of man!12Give us aid against the enemy, for the help of man is worthless.
With God we shall do valiantly; it is he who will tread down our foes.13With God we will perform with valor, and He will trample our enemies.
