Psalm 131
ESV Parallel NET [BSB CSB ESV HCS KJV ISV NAS NET NIV NLT HEB]
English Standard VersionNET Bible
1O LORD, my heart is not lifted up; my eyes are not raised too high; I do not occupy myself with things too great and too marvelous for me.1A song of ascents, by David. O LORD, my heart is not proud, nor do I have a haughty look. I do not have great aspirations, or concern myself with things that are beyond me.
2But I have calmed and quieted my soul, like a weaned child with its mother; like a weaned child is my soul within me.2Indeed I am composed and quiet, like a young child carried by its mother; I am content like the young child I carry.
3O Israel, hope in the LORD from this time forth and forevermore.3O Israel, hope in the LORD now and forevermore!
