Psalm 92
HCSB Parallel ESV [BSB CSB ESV HCS KJV ISV NAS NET NIV NLT HEB]
Holman Christian Standard BibleEnglish Standard Version
A psalm. A song for the Sabbath day. It is good to praise Yahweh, to sing praise to Your name, Most High, 1It is good to give thanks to the LORD, to sing praises to your name, O Most High;
to declare Your faithful love in the morning and Your faithfulness at night, 2to declare your steadfast love in the morning, and your faithfulness by night,
with a ten-stringed harp and the music of a lyre. 3to the music of the lute and the harp, to the melody of the lyre.
For You have made me rejoice, LORD, by what You have done; I will shout for joy because of the works of Your hands. 4For you, O LORD, have made me glad by your work; at the works of your hands I sing for joy.
How magnificent are Your works, LORD, how profound Your thoughts! 5How great are your works, O LORD! Your thoughts are very deep!
A stupid person does not know, a fool does not understand this: 6The stupid man cannot know; the fool cannot understand this:
though the wicked sprout like grass and all evildoers flourish, they will be eternally destroyed. 7that though the wicked sprout like grass and all evildoers flourish, they are doomed to destruction forever;
But You, LORD, are exalted forever. 8but you, O LORD, are on high forever.
For indeed, LORD, Your enemies-- indeed, Your enemies will perish; all evildoers will be scattered. 9For behold, your enemies, O LORD, for behold, your enemies shall perish; all evildoers shall be scattered.
You have lifted up my horn like that of a wild ox; I have been anointed with oil. 10But you have exalted my horn like that of the wild ox; you have poured over me fresh oil.
My eyes look down on my enemies; my ears hear evildoers when they attack me. 11My eyes have seen the downfall of my enemies; my ears have heard the doom of my evil assailants.
The righteous thrive like a palm tree and grow like a cedar tree in Lebanon. 12The righteous flourish like the palm tree and grow like a cedar in Lebanon.
Planted in the house of the LORD, they thrive in the courts of our God. 13They are planted in the house of the LORD; they flourish in the courts of our God.
They will still bear fruit in old age, healthy and green, 14They still bear fruit in old age; they are ever full of sap and green,
to declare: "The LORD is just; He is my rock, and there is no unrighteousness in Him." 15to declare that the LORD is upright; he is my rock, and there is no unrighteousness in him.
