When anyone presents a grain offering as a gift to the LORD, his gift must consist of fine flour. He is to pour olive oil on it, put frankincense on it,1'Now when anyone presents a grain offering as an offering to the LORD, his offering shall be of fine flour, and he shall pour oil on it and put frankincense on it.
and bring it to Aaron's sons the priests. The priest will take a handful of fine flour and oil from it, along with all its frankincense, and will burn this memorial portion of it on the altar, a fire offering of a pleasing aroma to the LORD.2He shall then bring it to Aaron's sons the priests; and shall take from it his handful of its fine flour and of its oil with all of its frankincense. And the priest shall offer it up in smoke as its memorial portion on the altar, an offering by fire of a soothing aroma to the LORD.
But the rest of the grain offering will belong to Aaron and his sons; it is the holiest part of the fire offerings to the LORD." 3'The remainder of the grain offering belongs to Aaron and his sons: a thing most holy, of the offerings to the LORD by fire.
When you present a grain offering baked in an oven, it must be made of fine flour, either unleavened cakes mixed with oil or unleavened wafers coated with oil. 4Now when you bring an offering of a grain offering baked in an oven, it shall be unleavened cakes of fine flour mixed with oil, or unleavened wafers spread with oil.
If your gift is a grain offering prepared on a griddle, it must be unleavened bread made of fine flour mixed with oil. 5If your offering is a grain offering made on the griddle, it shall be of fine flour, unleavened, mixed with oil;
Break it into pieces and pour oil on it; it is a grain offering. 6you shall break it into bits and pour oil on it; it is a grain offering.
If your gift is a grain offering prepared in a pan, it must be made of fine flour with oil. 7Now if your offering is a grain offering made in a pan, it shall be made of fine flour with oil.
When you bring to the LORD the grain offering made in any of these ways, it is to be presented to the priest, and he will take it to the altar. 8'When you bring in the grain offering which is made of these things to the LORD, it shall be presented to the priest and he shall bring it to the altar.
The priest will remove the memorial portion from the grain offering and burn it on the altar, a fire offering of a pleasing aroma to the LORD.9The priest then shall take up from the grain offering its memorial portion, and shall offer it up in smoke on the altar as an offering by fire of a soothing aroma to the LORD.
But the rest of the grain offering will belong to Aaron and his sons; it is the holiest part of the fire offerings to the LORD." 10'The remainder of the grain offering belongs to Aaron and his sons: a thing most holy of the offerings to the LORD by fire.
No grain offering that you present to the LORD is to be made with yeast, for you are not to burn any yeast or honey as a fire offering to the LORD.11'No grain offering, which you bring to the LORD, shall be made with leaven, for you shall not offer up in smoke any leaven or any honey as an offering by fire to the LORD.
You may present them to the LORD as an offering of firstfruits, but they are not to be offered on the altar as a pleasing aroma. 12'As an offering of first fruits you shall bring them to the LORD, but they shall not ascend for a soothing aroma on the altar.
You are to season each of your grain offerings with salt; you must not omit from your grain offering the salt of the covenant with your God. You are to present salt with each of your offerings." 13'Every grain offering of yours, moreover, you shall season with salt, so that the salt of the covenant of your God shall not be lacking from your grain offering; with all your offerings you shall offer salt.
If you present a grain offering of firstfruits to the LORD, you must present fresh heads of grain, crushed kernels, roasted on the fire, for your grain offering of firstfruits. 14'Also if you bring a grain offering of early ripened things to the LORD, you shall bring fresh heads of grain roasted in the fire, grits of new growth, for the grain offering of your early ripened things.
You are to put oil and frankincense on it; it is a grain offering. 15'You shall then put oil on it and lay incense on it; it is a grain offering.
The priest will then burn some of its crushed kernels and oil with all its frankincense as a fire offering to the LORD." 16'The priest shall offer up in smoke its memorial portion, part of its grits and its oil with all its incense as an offering by fire to the LORD.
