| 3For strangers rise up against me, and violent men seek my life. They have no regard for God. Selah | 3For strangers have risen against me And violent men have sought my life; They have not set God before them. Selah. |
| 4God is my helper; the Lord is the sustainer of my life. | 4Behold, God is my helper; The Lord is the sustainer of my soul. |
| 5He will repay my adversaries for their evil. Because of Your faithfulness, annihilate them. | 5He will recompense the evil to my foes; Destroy them in Your faithfulness. |
