Psalm 23
HCSB Parallel NLT [BSB CSB ESV HCS KJV ISV NAS NET NIV NLT HEB]
Holman Christian Standard BibleNew Living Translation
1A Davidic psalm. The LORD is my shepherd; there is nothing I lack. 1The LORD is my shepherd; I have all that I need.
2He lets me lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside quiet waters. 2He lets me rest in green meadows; he leads me beside peaceful streams.
3He renews my life; He leads me along the right paths for His name's sake. 3He renews my strength. He guides me along right paths, bringing honor to his name.
4Even when I go through the darkest valley, I fear no danger, for You are with me; Your rod and Your staff--they comfort me. 4Even when I walk through the darkest valley, I will not be afraid, for you are close beside me. Your rod and your staff protect and comfort me.
5You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows. 5You prepare a feast for me in the presence of my enemies. You honor me by anointing my head with oil. My cup overflows with blessings.
6Only goodness and faithful love will pursue me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the LORD as long as I live. 6Surely your goodness and unfailing love will pursue me all the days of my life, and I will live in the house of the LORD forever.
