| 3Look at me! Answer me, LORD, my God! Give light to my eyes! Otherwise, I will sleep in death; | 3Consider me and answer, LORD my God. Restore brightness to my eyes; otherwise, I will sleep in death. |
| 4Otherwise, my enemy will say, "I have overcome him;" Otherwise, my persecutor will rejoice when I am shaken. | 4My enemy will say, "I have triumphed over him," and my foes will rejoice because I am shaken. |
