Psalm 108
ISV Parallel NASB [BSB CSB ESV HCS KJV ISV NAS NET NIV NLT HEB]
International Standard VersionNew American Standard Bible 1995
My heart is firm, God; I will sing and praise you with my whole being.1A Song, a Psalm of David. My heart is steadfast, O God; I will sing, I will sing praises, even with my soul.
Awake, harp and lyre! I will wake up at dawn.2Awake, harp and lyre; I will awaken the dawn!
I will give thanks to you among the peoples, LORD! I will sing praise to you among the nations.3I will give thanks to You, O LORD, among the peoples, And I will sing praises to You among the nations.
For your gracious love extends to the sky, and your faithfulness reaches to the clouds.4For Your lovingkindness is great above the heavens, And Your truth reaches to the skies.
May you be exalted above the heavens, God, and your glory be over all the earth.5Be exalted, O God, above the heavens, And Your glory above all the earth.
In order that those you love may be rescued, deliver with your power and answer me!6That Your beloved may be delivered, Save with Your right hand, and answer me!
God had promised in his sanctuary: "I will triumph and divide Shechem, then I will measure the valley of Succoth!7God has spoken in His holiness: "I will exult, I will portion out Shechem And measure out the valley of Succoth.
Gilead and Manasseh belong to me, while Ephraim is my chief stronghold and Judah is my scepter.8"Gilead is Mine, Manasseh is Mine; Ephraim also is the helmet of My head; Judah is My scepter.
Moab is my washbasin; I will fling my shoe on Edom and shout over Philistia."9"Moab is My washbowl; Over Edom I shall throw My shoe; Over Philistia I will shout aloud."
Who will lead me to the fortified city? Who will lead me as far as Edom?10Who will bring me into the besieged city? Who will lead me to Edom?
God, you have rejected us, have you not, since you did not march out with our army, God?11Have not You Yourself, O God, rejected us? And will You not go forth with our armies, O God?
Give us help against the enemy, because human help is useless. 12Oh give us help against the adversary, For deliverance by man is in vain.
I will find strength in God, for he will trample on our foes.13Through God we will do valiantly, And it is He who shall tread down our adversaries.
