| 1My heart is firm, God; I will sing and praise you with my whole being. | 1My heart is confident in you, O God; no wonder I can sing your praises with all my heart! |
| 2Awake, harp and lyre! I will wake up at dawn. | 2Wake up, lyre and harp! I will wake the dawn with my song. |
| 3I will give thanks to you among the peoples, LORD! I will sing praise to you among the nations. | 3I will thank you, LORD, among all the people. I will sing your praises among the nations. |
| 4For your gracious love extends to the sky, and your faithfulness reaches to the clouds. | 4For your unfailing love is higher than the heavens. Your faithfulness reaches to the clouds. |
| 5May you be exalted above the heavens, God, and your glory be over all the earth. | 5Be exalted, O God, above the highest heavens. May your glory shine over all the earth. |

| 12Give us help against the enemy, because human help is useless. | 12Oh, please help us against our enemies, for all human help is useless. |
