Job 25
ISV Parallel NIV [BSB CSB ESV HCS KJV ISV NAS NET NIV NLT HEB]
International Standard VersionNew International Version
1Bildad from Shuah responded and said:1Then Bildad the Shuhite replied:
2"Dominion and fear belong to God; who fashions peace in his high heaven.2"Dominion and awe belong to God; he establishes order in the heights of heaven.
3Is there any limit to his armies? On whom does his light not shine? 3Can his forces be numbered? On whom does his light not rise?
4How can a human being become right with God? How can a human being be pure?4How then can a mortal be righteous before God? How can one born of woman be pure?
5Behold, even the moon isn't bright, and the stars aren't pure in his eyes.5If even the moon is not bright and the stars are not pure in his eyes,
6How much less is man, who is only a maggot, or a man's children, who are only worms!"6how much less a mortal, who is but a maggot-- a human being, who is only a worm!"
