Psalm 125
ISV Parallel NIV [BSB CSB ESV HCS KJV ISV NAS NET NIV NLT HEB]
International Standard VersionNew International Version
1Those who are trusting in the LORD are like Mount Zion, which cannot be overthrown. They remain forever.1A song of ascents. Those who trust in the LORD are like Mount Zion, which cannot be shaken but endures forever.
2Just as mountains encircle Jerusalem, so the LORD encircles his people, from now to eternity.2As the mountains surround Jerusalem, so the LORD surrounds his people both now and forevermore.
3For evil's scepter will not rest on the land that has been allotted to the righteous, and so the righteous will not direct themselves to do wrong.3The scepter of the wicked will not remain over the land allotted to the righteous, for then the righteous might use their hands to do evil.
4LORD, do good to those who are good, and to those who are upright in heart. 4LORD, do good to those who are good, to those who are upright in heart.
5But for those who choose their own devious paths, the LORD will lead them away, along with those who practice evil. Peace be upon Israel.5But those who turn to crooked ways the LORD will banish with the evildoers. Peace be on Israel.
