Psalm 110
KJV Parallel ESV [BSB CSB ESV HCS KJV ISV NAS NET NIV NLT HEB]
King James BibleEnglish Standard Version
1A Psalm of David. The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou at my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool.1The LORD says to my Lord: “Sit at my right hand, until I make your enemies your footstool.”
2The LORD shall send the rod of thy strength out of Zion: rule thou in the midst of thine enemies.2The LORD sends forth from Zion your mighty scepter. Rule in the midst of your enemies!
3Thy people shall be willing in the day of thy power, in the beauties of holiness from the womb of the morning: thou hast the dew of thy youth.3Your people will offer themselves freely on the day of your power, in holy garments; from the womb of the morning, the dew of your youth will be yours.
4The LORD hath sworn, and will not repent, Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchizedek.4The LORD has sworn and will not change his mind, “You are a priest forever after the order of Melchizedek.”
5The Lord at thy right hand shall strike through kings in the day of his wrath.5The Lord is at your right hand; he will shatter kings on the day of his wrath.
6He shall judge among the heathen, he shall fill the places with the dead bodies; he shall wound the heads over many countries.6He will execute judgment among the nations, filling them with corpses; he will shatter chiefs over the wide earth.
7He shall drink of the brook in the way: therefore shall he lift up the head.7He will drink from the brook by the way; therefore he will lift up his head.
