| 3The fifth, Shephatiah of Abital: the sixth, Ithream by Eglah his wife. | 3Shephatiah his fifth born by Abital, and Ithream his sixth born by his wife Eglah. |
| 4These six were born unto him in Hebron; and there he reigned seven years and six months: and in Jerusalem he reigned thirty and three years. | 4These six were born to him in Hebron, where he reigned for seven years and six months. He reigned 33 years in Jerusalem. |

| 9These were all the sons of David, beside the sons of the concubines, and Tamar their sister. | 9All these were David's sons, besides children born to his mistresses. Tamar was their sister. |
| 10And Solomon's son was Rehoboam, Abia his son, Asa his son, Jehoshaphat his son, | 10Solomon's descendants included Rehoboam, his son Abijah, his son Asa, his son Jehoshaphat, |

| 14Amon his son, Josiah his son. | 14his son Amon, and his son Josiah. |
| 15And the sons of Josiah were, the firstborn Johanan, the second Jehoiakim, the third Zedekiah, the fourth Shallum. | 15Josiah's descendants included Johanan his firstborn, his second born Jehoiakim, his third born Zedekiah, and his fourth born Shallum. |
| 16And the sons of Jehoiakim: Jeconiah his son, Zedekiah his son. | 16Jehoiakim's descendants included his son Jeconiah, and his son Zedekiah. |
| 17And the sons of Jeconiah; Assir, Salathiel his son, | 17The descendants of Jeconiah, who was taken captive to Babylon , included his son Shealtiel, |
| 18Malchiram also, and Pedaiah, and Shenazar, Jecamiah, Hoshama, and Nedabiah. | 18Malchiram, Pedaiah, Shenazzar, Jekamiah, Hoshama, and Nedabiah. |
| 19And the sons of Pedaiah were, Zerubbabel, and Shimei: and the sons of Zerubbabel; Meshullam, and Hananiah, and Shelomith their sister: | 19Pedaiah's descendants included Zerubbabel and Shimei. Zerubbabel's descendants included Meshullam and Hananiah, along with Shelomith their sister |
| 20And Hashubah, and Ohel, and Berechiah, and Hasadiah, Jushabhesed, five. | 20and five others: Hashubah, Ohel, Berechiah, Hasadiah, and Jushab-hesed. |
| 21And the sons of Hananiah; Pelatiah, and Jesaiah: the sons of Rephaiah, the sons of Arnan, the sons of Obadiah, the sons of Shechaniah. | 21Hananiah's descendants included Pelatiah and Jeshaiah, his son Rephaiah, his son Arnan, his son Obadiah, and his son Shecaniah. |
| 22And the sons of Shechaniah; Shemaiah: and the sons of Shemaiah; Hattush, and Igeal, and Bariah, and Neariah, and Shaphat, six. | 22Shecaniah's son was Shemaiah, and the six sons of Shemaiah were Hattush, Igal, Bariah, Neariah, and Shaphat. |
| 23And the sons of Neariah; Elioenai, and Hezekiah, and Azrikam, three. | 23The three sons of Neariah were Elioenai, Hizkiah, and Azrikam. |
| 24And the sons of Elioenai were, Hodaiah, and Eliashib, and Pelaiah, and Akkub, and Johanan, and Dalaiah, and Anani, seven. | 24The seven sons of Elioenai were Hodaviah, Eliashib, Pelaiah, Akkub, Johanan, Delaiah, and Anani. |
