Psalm 108
KJV Parallel NET [BSB CSB ESV HCS KJV ISV NAS NET NIV NLT HEB]
King James BibleNET Bible
A Song or Psalm of David. O God, my heart is fixed; I will sing and give praise, even with my glory.1A song, a psalm of David. I am determined, O God! I will sing and praise you with my whole heart.
Awake, psaltery and harp: I myself will awake early.2Awake, O stringed instrument and harp! I will wake up at dawn!
I will praise thee, O LORD, among the people: and I will sing praises unto thee among the nations.3I will give you thanks before the nations, O LORD! I will sing praises to you before foreigners!
For thy mercy is great above the heavens: and thy truth reacheth unto the clouds.4For your loyal love extends beyond the sky, and your faithfulness reaches the clouds.
Be thou exalted, O God, above the heavens: and thy glory above all the earth;5Rise up above the sky, O God! May your splendor cover the whole earth!
That thy beloved may be delivered: save with thy right hand, and answer me.6Deliver by your power and answer me, so that the ones you love may be safe.
God hath spoken in his holiness; I will rejoice, I will divide Shechem, and mete out the valley of Succoth.7God has spoken in his sanctuary: "I will triumph! I will parcel out Shechem, the valley of Succoth I will measure off.
Gilead is mine; Manasseh is mine; Ephraim also is the strength of mine head; Judah is my lawgiver;8Gilead belongs to me, as does Manasseh! Ephraim is my helmet, Judah my royal scepter.
Moab is my washpot; over Edom will I cast out my shoe; over Philistia will I triumph.9Moab is my wash basin. I will make Edom serve me. I will shout in triumph over Philistia."
Who will bring me into the strong city? who will lead me into Edom?10Who will lead me into the fortified city? Who will bring me to Edom?
Wilt not thou, O God, who hast cast us off? and wilt not thou, O God, go forth with our hosts?11Have you not rejected us, O God? O God, you do not go into battle with our armies.
Give us help from trouble: for vain is the help of man.12Give us help against the enemy, for any help men might offer is futile.
Through God we shall do valiantly: for he it is that shall tread down our enemies.13By God's power we will conquer; he will trample down our enemies.
