NASB Parallel BSB [BSB CSB ESV HCS KJV ISV NAS NET NIV NLT HEB]
New American Standard Bible 1995Berean Study Bible
Then He said to me, "Son of man, stand on your feet that I may speak with you!"1“Son of man,” He said to me, “stand up on your feet and I will speak to you.”
As He spoke to me the Spirit entered me and set me on my feet; and I heard Him speaking to me.2And as He spoke to me, the Spirit entered me and set me on my feet, and I heard Him speaking to me.
Then He said to me, "Son of man, I am sending you to the sons of Israel, to a rebellious people who have rebelled against Me; they and their fathers have transgressed against Me to this very day.3“Son of man,” He said to me, “I am sending you to the Israelites, to a rebellious nation that has rebelled against Me. To this very day they and their fathers have rebelled against Me.
"I am sending you to them who are stubborn and obstinate children, and you shall say to them, 'Thus says the Lord GOD.'4They are obstinate and stubborn children. I am sending you to them, and you are to say to them, ‘This is what the Lord GOD says.’
"As for them, whether they listen or not-- for they are a rebellious house-- they will know that a prophet has been among them.5And whether they listen or refuse to listen—for they are a rebellious house—they will know that a prophet has been among them.
"And you, son of man, neither fear them nor fear their words, though thistles and thorns are with you and you sit on scorpions; neither fear their words nor be dismayed at their presence, for they are a rebellious house.6But you, son of man, do not be afraid of them or their words. Do not be afraid, though briers and thorns surround you, and you dwell among scorpions. Do not be afraid of their words or dismayed by their presence, though they are a rebellious house.
"But you shall speak My words to them whether they listen or not, for they are rebellious.7But speak My words to them, whether they listen or refuse to listen, for they are rebellious.
"Now you, son of man, listen to what I am speaking to you; do not be rebellious like that rebellious house. Open your mouth and eat what I am giving you."8And you, son of man, listen to what I tell you. Do not be rebellious like that rebellious house. Open your mouth and eat what I give you.”
Then I looked, and behold, a hand was extended to me; and lo, a scroll was in it.9Then I looked and saw a hand reaching out to me, and in it was a scroll,
When He spread it out before me, it was written on the front and back, and written on it were lamentations, mourning and woe.10which He unrolled before me. And written on the front and back of it were words of lamentation, mourning, and woe.
