Psalm 65
NASB Parallel CSB [BSB CSB ESV HCS KJV ISV NAS NET NIV NLT HEB]
New American Standard Bible 1995Christian Standard Bible
For the choir director. A Psalm of David. A Song. There will be silence before You, and praise in Zion, O God, And to You the vow will be performed.1Praise is rightfully yours, God, in Zion; vows to you will be fulfilled.
O You who hear prayer, To You all men come.2All humanity will come to you, the one who hears prayer.
Iniquities prevail against me; As for our transgressions, You forgive them.3Iniquities overwhelm me; only you can atone for our rebellions.
How blessed is the one whom You choose and bring near to You To dwell in Your courts. We will be satisfied with the goodness of Your house, Your holy temple.4How happy is the one you choose and bring near to live in your courts! We will be satisfied with the goodness of your house, the holiness of your temple.
By awesome deeds You answer us in righteousness, O God of our salvation, You who are the trust of all the ends of the earth and of the farthest sea;5You answer us in righteousness, with awe-inspiring works, God of our salvation, the hope of all the ends of the earth and of the distant seas.
Who establishes the mountains by His strength, Being girded with might;6You establish the mountains by your power; you are robed with strength.
Who stills the roaring of the seas, The roaring of their waves, And the tumult of the peoples.7You silence the roar of the seas, the roar of their waves, and the tumult of the nations.
They who dwell in the ends of the earth stand in awe of Your signs; You make the dawn and the sunset shout for joy.8Those who live far away are awed by your signs; you make east and west shout for joy.
You visit the earth and cause it to overflow; You greatly enrich it; The stream of God is full of water; You prepare their grain, for thus You prepare the earth.9You visit the earth and water it abundantly, enriching it greatly. God's stream is filled with water, for you prepare the earth in this way, providing people with grain.
You water its furrows abundantly, You settle its ridges, You soften it with showers, You bless its growth.10You soften it with showers and bless its growth, soaking its furrows and leveling its ridges.
You have crowned the year with Your bounty, And Your paths drip with fatness.11You crown the year with your goodness; your carts overflow with plenty.
The pastures of the wilderness drip, And the hills gird themselves with rejoicing.12The wilderness pastures overflow, and the hills are robed with joy.
The meadows are clothed with flocks And the valleys are covered with grain; They shout for joy, yes, they sing.13The pastures are clothed with flocks and the valleys covered with grain. They shout in triumph; indeed, they sing.
