NASB Parallel ISV [BSB CSB ESV HCS KJV ISV NAS NET NIV NLT HEB]
New American Standard Bible 1995International Standard Version
'Now if his offering is a sacrifice of peace offerings, if he is going to offer out of the herd, whether male or female, he shall offer it without defect before the LORD.1"If someone's offering is a peace offering from the cattle, the presenter is to offer it without defect, whether the animal is male or female. They are to be brought to the LORD.
'He shall lay his hand on the head of his offering and slay it at the doorway of the tent of meeting, and Aaron's sons the priests shall sprinkle the blood around on the altar.2Then the presenter is to lay his hand on the head of the offering and slaughter it at the entrance to the Tent of Meeting. After this, Aaron's sons, the priests, are to sprinkle the blood on and around the altar.
'From the sacrifice of the peace offerings he shall present an offering by fire to the LORD, the fat that covers the entrails and all the fat that is on the entrails,3"The presenter is then to bring a gift from the peace offering, an offering made by fire to the LORD. He is to remove the fat that covers the internal organs, all of the fat that is inside the internal organs,
and the two kidneys with the fat that is on them, which is on the loins, and the lobe of the liver, which he shall remove with the kidneys.4the two kidneys with the fat on them by the loins, and the fatty mass that surrounds the liver and kidneys.
Then Aaron's sons shall offer it up in smoke on the altar on the burnt offering, which is on the wood that is on the fire; it is an offering by fire of a soothing aroma to the LORD.5Then Aaron's sons are to burn them on the altar, over the burnt offering that has been placed on the wood over the fire, as an offering made by fire, an aroma pleasing to the LORD.
'But if his offering for a sacrifice of peace offerings to the LORD is from the flock, he shall offer it, male or female, without defect.6"If his offering to the LORD is a peace offering from the flock, whether male or female, he is to bring it without defect.
'If he is going to offer a lamb for his offering, then he shall offer it before the LORD,7If the offering that he is bringing is a lamb, then he is to bring it to the LORD.
and he shall lay his hand on the head of his offering and slay it before the tent of meeting, and Aaron's sons shall sprinkle its blood around on the altar.8He is to lay his hand on the head of his offering and slaughter it at the entrance to the Tent of Meeting. Then Aaron's sons are to sprinkle the blood on and around the altar.
'From the sacrifice of peace offerings he shall bring as an offering by fire to the LORD, its fat, the entire fat tail which he shall remove close to the backbone, and the fat that covers the entrails and all the fat that is on the entrails,9"The presenter is then to bring a gift from the peace offering as an offering made by fire to the LORD. He is to remove the fat—the entire fat tail near the spine, the fat that covers the internal organs, all of the fat that is inside the internal organs,
and the two kidneys with the fat that is on them, which is on the loins, and the lobe of the liver, which he shall remove with the kidneys.10the two kidneys with the fat on them by the loins, and the fatty mass that surrounds the liver and kidneys.
Then the priest shall offer it up in smoke on the altar as food, an offering by fire to the LORD.11Then the priest is to burn them on the altar as a food offering made by fire to the LORD.
'Moreover, if his offering is a goat, then he shall offer it before the LORD,12"If his offering is a goat, then he is to bring it to the LORD,
and he shall lay his hand on its head and slay it before the tent of meeting, and the sons of Aaron shall sprinkle its blood around on the altar.13lay his hand over its head, then slaughter it at the entrance to the Tent of Meeting. After this, Aaron's sons are to sprinkle the blood on and around the altar.
'From it he shall present his offering as an offering by fire to the LORD, the fat that covers the entrails and all the fat that is on the entrails,14"The presenter is then to present the gift as an offering made by fire to the LORD, that is, the fat that covers the internal organs, all the fat that is inside the internal organs,
and the two kidneys with the fat that is on them, which is on the loins, and the lobe of the liver, which he shall remove with the kidneys.15the two kidneys with the fat on them by the loins, and the fatty mass that surrounds the liver and kidneys.
The priest shall offer them up in smoke on the altar as food, an offering by fire for a soothing aroma; all fat is the LORD'S.16The priest is to burn it on the altar, a food offering made by fire, a pleasing aroma. All the fat belongs to the LORD.
'It is a perpetual statute throughout your generations in all your dwellings: you shall not eat any fat or any blood.'"17"This is to be a lasting statute for all your generations, wherever you live. You are not to eat any fat or blood."
