"And you shall make the altar of acacia wood, five cubits long and five cubits wide; the altar shall be square, and its height shall be three cubits.1"Build an altar of acacia wood, three cubits high; it is to be square, five cubits long and five cubits wide.
"You shall make its horns on its four corners; its horns shall be of one piece with it, and you shall overlay it with bronze.2Make a horn at each of the four corners, so that the horns and the altar are of one piece, and overlay the altar with bronze.
"You shall make its pails for removing its ashes, and its shovels and its basins and its forks and its firepans; you shall make all its utensils of bronze.3Make all its utensils of bronze--its pots to remove the ashes, and its shovels, sprinkling bowls, meat forks and firepans.
"You shall make for it a grating of network of bronze, and on the net you shall make four bronze rings at its four corners.4Make a grating for it, a bronze network, and make a bronze ring at each of the four corners of the network.
"You shall put it beneath, under the ledge of the altar, so that the net will reach halfway up the altar.5Put it under the ledge of the altar so that it is halfway up the altar.
"You shall make poles for the altar, poles of acacia wood, and overlay them with bronze.6Make poles of acacia wood for the altar and overlay them with bronze.
"Its poles shall be inserted into the rings, so that the poles shall be on the two sides of the altar when it is carried.7The poles are to be inserted into the rings so they will be on two sides of the altar when it is carried.
"You shall make it hollow with planks; as it was shown to you in the mountain, so they shall make it.8Make the altar hollow, out of boards. It is to be made just as you were shown on the mountain.
"You shall make the court of the tabernacle. On the south side there shall be hangings for the court of fine twisted linen one hundred cubits long for one side;9"Make a courtyard for the tabernacle. The south side shall be a hundred cubits long and is to have curtains of finely twisted linen,
and its pillars shall be twenty, with their twenty sockets of bronze; the hooks of the pillars and their bands shall be of silver.10with twenty posts and twenty bronze bases and with silver hooks and bands on the posts.
"Likewise for the north side in length there shall be hangings one hundred cubits long, and its twenty pillars with their twenty sockets of bronze; the hooks of the pillars and their bands shall be of silver.11The north side shall also be a hundred cubits long and is to have curtains, with twenty posts and twenty bronze bases and with silver hooks and bands on the posts.
"For the width of the court on the west side shall be hangings of fifty cubits with their ten pillars and their ten sockets.12"The west end of the courtyard shall be fifty cubits wide and have curtains, with ten posts and ten bases.
"The width of the court on the east side shall be fifty cubits.13On the east end, toward the sunrise, the courtyard shall also be fifty cubits wide.
"The hangings for the one side of the gate shall be fifteen cubits with their three pillars and their three sockets.14Curtains fifteen cubits long are to be on one side of the entrance, with three posts and three bases,
"And for the other side shall be hangings of fifteen cubits with their three pillars and their three sockets.15and curtains fifteen cubits long are to be on the other side, with three posts and three bases.
"For the gate of the court there shall be a screen of twenty cubits, of blue and purple and scarlet material and fine twisted linen, the work of a weaver, with their four pillars and their four sockets.16"For the entrance to the courtyard, provide a curtain twenty cubits long, of blue, purple and scarlet yarn and finely twisted linen--the work of an embroiderer--with four posts and four bases.
"All the pillars around the court shall be furnished with silver bands with their hooks of silver and their sockets of bronze.17All the posts around the courtyard are to have silver bands and hooks, and bronze bases.
"The length of the court shall be one hundred cubits, and the width fifty throughout, and the height five cubits of fine twisted linen, and their sockets of bronze.18The courtyard shall be a hundred cubits long and fifty cubits wide, with curtains of finely twisted linen five cubits high, and with bronze bases.
"All the utensils of the tabernacle used in all its service, and all its pegs, and all the pegs of the court, shall be of bronze.19All the other articles used in the service of the tabernacle, whatever their function, including all the tent pegs for it and those for the courtyard, are to be of bronze.
"You shall charge the sons of Israel, that they bring you clear oil of beaten olives for the light, to make a lamp burn continually.20"Command the Israelites to bring you clear oil of pressed olives for the light so that the lamps may be kept burning.
"In the tent of meeting, outside the veil which is before the testimony, Aaron and his sons shall keep it in order from evening to morning before the LORD; it shall be a perpetual statute throughout their generations for the sons of Israel.21In the tent of meeting, outside the curtain that shields the ark of the covenant law, Aaron and his sons are to keep the lamps burning before the LORD from evening till morning. This is to be a lasting ordinance among the Israelites for the generations to come.
