NET BibleHolman Christian Standard Bible
A song of ascents. I look up toward the hills. From where does my help come? 1A song of ascents. I lift my eyes toward the mountains. Where will my help come from?
My help comes from the LORD, the Creator of heaven and earth! 2My help comes from the LORD, the Maker of heaven and earth.
May he not allow your foot to slip! May your protector not sleep! 3He will not allow your foot to slip; your Protector will not slumber.
Look! Israel's protector does not sleep or slumber! 4Indeed, the Protector of Israel does not slumber or sleep.
The LORD is your protector; the LORD is the shade at your right hand. 5The LORD protects you; the LORD is a shelter right by your side.
The sun will not harm you by day, or the moon by night. 6The sun will not strike you by day or the moon by night.
The LORD will protect you from all harm; he will protect your life. 7The LORD will protect you from all harm; He will protect your life.
The LORD will protect you in all you do, now and forevermore. 8The LORD will protect your coming and going both now and forever.
