Psalm 131
NET Parallel HCSB [BSB CSB ESV HCS KJV ISV NAS NET NIV NLT HEB]
NET BibleHolman Christian Standard Bible
1A song of ascents, by David. O LORD, my heart is not proud, nor do I have a haughty look. I do not have great aspirations, or concern myself with things that are beyond me. 1A Davidic song of ascents. LORD, my heart is not proud; my eyes are not haughty. I do not get involved with things too great or too difficult for me.
2Indeed I am composed and quiet, like a young child carried by its mother; I am content like the young child I carry. 2Instead, I have calmed and quieted myself like a little weaned child with its mother; I am like a little child.
3O Israel, hope in the LORD now and forevermore! 3Israel, put your hope in the LORD, both now and forever.
