Psalm 103

New International VersionNET Bible
Of David. Praise the LORD, my soul; all my inmost being, praise his holy name.1By David. Praise the LORD, O my soul! With all that is within me, praise his holy name!
Praise the LORD, my soul, and forget not all his benefits--2Praise the LORD, O my soul! Do not forget all his kind deeds!
who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases,3He is the one who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases,
who redeems your life from the pit and crowns you with love and compassion,4who delivers your life from the Pit, who crowns you with his loyal love and compassion,
who satisfies your desires with good things so that your youth is renewed like the eagle's.5who satisfies your life with good things, so your youth is renewed like an eagle's.
The LORD works righteousness and justice for all the oppressed.6The LORD does what is fair, and executes justice for all the oppressed.
He made known his ways to Moses, his deeds to the people of Israel:7The LORD revealed his faithful acts to Moses, his deeds to the Israelites.
The LORD is compassionate and gracious, slow to anger, abounding in love.8The LORD is compassionate and merciful; he is patient and demonstrates great loyal love.
He will not always accuse, nor will he harbor his anger forever;9He does not always accuse, and does not stay angry.
he does not treat us as our sins deserve or repay us according to our iniquities.10He does not deal with us as our sins deserve; he does not repay us as our misdeeds deserve.
For as high as the heavens are above the earth, so great is his love for those who fear him;11For as the skies are high above the earth, so his loyal love towers over his faithful followers.
as far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our transgressions from us.12As far as the eastern horizon is from the west, so he removes the guilt of our rebellious actions from us.
As a father has compassion on his children, so the LORD has compassion on those who fear him;13As a father has compassion on his children, so the LORD has compassion on his faithful followers.
for he knows how we are formed, he remembers that we are dust.14For he knows what we are made of; he realizes we are made of clay.
The life of mortals is like grass, they flourish like a flower of the field;15A person's life is like grass. Like a flower in the field it flourishes,
the wind blows over it and it is gone, and its place remembers it no more.16but when the hot wind blows by, it disappears, and one can no longer even spot the place where it once grew.
But from everlasting to everlasting the LORD's love is with those who fear him, and his righteousness with their children's children--17But the LORD continually shows loyal love to his faithful followers, and is faithful to their descendants,
with those who keep his covenant and remember to obey his precepts.18to those who keep his covenant, who are careful to obey his commands.
The LORD has established his throne in heaven, and his kingdom rules over all.19The LORD has established his throne in heaven; his kingdom extends over everything.
Praise the LORD, you his angels, you mighty ones who do his bidding, who obey his word.20Praise the LORD, you angels of his, you powerful warriors who carry out his decrees and obey his orders!
Praise the LORD, all his heavenly hosts, you his servants who do his will.21Praise the LORD, all you warriors of his, you servants of his who carry out his desires!
Praise the LORD, all his works everywhere in his dominion. Praise the LORD, my soul.22Praise the LORD, all that he has made, in all the regions of his kingdom! Praise the LORD, O my soul!
