Psalm 130
NIV Parallel NLT [BSB CSB ESV HCS KJV ISV NAS NET NIV NLT HEB]
New International VersionNew Living Translation
1A song of ascents. Out of the depths I cry to you, LORD;1From the depths of despair, O LORD, I call for your help.
2Lord, hear my voice. Let your ears be attentive to my cry for mercy.2Hear my cry, O Lord. Pay attention to my prayer.
3If you, LORD, kept a record of sins, Lord, who could stand?3LORD, if you kept a record of our sins, who, O Lord, could ever survive?
4But with you there is forgiveness, so that we can, with reverence, serve you.4But you offer forgiveness, that we might learn to fear you.
5I wait for the LORD, my whole being waits, and in his word I put my hope.5I am counting on the LORD; yes, I am counting on him. I have put my hope in his word.
6I wait for the Lord more than watchmen wait for the morning, more than watchmen wait for the morning.6I long for the Lord more than sentries long for the dawn, yes, more than sentries long for the dawn.
7Israel, put your hope in the LORD, for with the LORD is unfailing love and with him is full redemption.7O Israel, hope in the LORD; for with the LORD there is unfailing love. His redemption overflows.
8He himself will redeem Israel from all their sins.8He himself will redeem Israel from every kind of sin.
